Hi everyone! Sorry I didn't post about this sooner, but I am sure everyone already has heard the news. Josh Gates is doing a mini special based on the film trilogy Back to the Future! This was my first fandom ever as a little girl, so it is fun to see these worlds collide.
I do not know when it will air on TV, but it is available to stream NOW on Discovery Plus. I know there are folks upset that they feel they need to get an app to be able to watch Josh Gates' shows, but trust me - it's a really good app with lots of great content (again, not sponsored - I wish!)
Click THIS LINK to get a 7 day free trial and check this mini series out!

About this special, via the New York Post:
"Christopher Lloyd revisits a huge part of his past in the new discovery+ series “Expedition Unknown: Back to the Future,” hosted by Josh Gates. The four-part series, premiering Monday, March 15, follows Gates and Lloyd...as they search for the futuristic time-traveling DeLorean cars (there were seven in all) used in the iconic movie trilogy."
Hello everyone. Sorry again for being absent for a while. Hope everyone has been well and healthy. Your fan site runner Amanda here with the latest info I can give you.
This is not a sponsored post (I wish!) but the Discovery Plus app is the best way to view shows with Josh Gates and his crew in them. As long as you have not signed up, you will get a free week’s trial and then it’s $5 per month after, which is a pretty neat deal. CLICK HERE
Personally speaking - I myself use it so I can not only see Josh’s shows but to also watch crime documentaries and Ghost Adventures! The final total per month for me is $5.65.
Discovery+ app has the following Josh Gates shows on it that you can watch on-demand at any time:

Hello everyone! Hope all my fellow Josh Gates fans are doing well out there.
Here is some information for you for the weeks ahead:
Still not seeing any of Josh's shows on the Travel Channel schedule, so I will instead leave you the link to their schedule if you would like to check up on it for the future - LINK
Discovery Channel has been consistently airing mini marathons of "Expedition Unknown" on Wednesdays and has had new episodes of "Josh Gates Tonight" for the past few months now. Looks like this Wednesday, September 2nd, will be following this tradition. There are also reruns Saturday, September 5th, and then there looks to be a new episode Wednesday, September 9th, but they are only showing a partial schedule when I check their site, so far.
Are you following Josh on social and seeing all the ways he is involving fans in "Josh Gates Tonight"? I highly recommend that you do.

Hello, fellow fans. I hope you have all been healthy and safe during this global pandemic. I also hope you have been watching and enjoying Josh Gates Tonight on the Discovery Channel. What great guests and topics we have seen!
I wanted to do a quick post without any ads speaking from the heart about the recent civil unrest we have seen in recent times. Now is the time where we as a global community must come together to have a conversation with ourselves, at home, in our hometowns, about racism, our communities, and what kind of world we leave for the next generation.
Even with the pandemic, why not make it an overall conversation about how we treat our fellow humans we share this world with? Humanity and empathy have become huge topics in these troubled times - it is never too late to open our minds and hearts.
On a recent episode of Josh Gates Tonight, Josh had this to say:
"This is usually where I kick things off with some solid dad jokes and sweat pants humor, but at a time when our country has been rocked by social unrest, I thought we might take a moment instead to reflect on tonight’s theme. We are just three days away from the anniversary of D-Day. As we struggle now with serious challenges, I take comfort in remembering a time when our nation came together to face an existential crisis. Look, we can’t pretend that many of the problems we’re facing now didn’t exist then...Americans are greater than the sum of our differences. I hope we can find that spirit of unity in the days and weeks ahead. We need it. What better way to honor the greatest generation, who sacrificed so much for all of us?"
