Sorry for the gaps in news updates, Truthies. Here's what is going on: - "DT" marathons on Syfy June 4th and June 19th, so check local listings
- Josh Gates is doing appearances throughout this Summer and Fall, so check out his list HERE (he does not link the events, so you'll have to Google the ones you want more info on). He will be doing DragonCon this year with fellow "DT" alumni Erin Ryder, which is great!
- Josh proposed to his long time girlfriend Hallie recently, so help join the fan celebration project by taking a photo of yourself/with others/of other fans with "congrats" signs or by making art work and sending it by Sunday the 26th to DTfanambassador AT yahoo DOT com :)
- Your regular announcement, everyone: "Destination Truth" is on hiatus meaning they have not been green-lit to shoot more episodes and have not shot anything new yet, but the show has not been canceled. I have no further news of the show's status, nor is Josh Gates or any of the cast allowed to discuss this information without Syfy's okay
- No "Stranded" re-runs any time soon, it looks, but there are "DT" marathons on Syfy Tuesday April 30th 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST, as well as Tuesday May 7th starting at 8 a.m. (not sure how long it goes for, as it looks like the schedule was partially cut off)

- Though there was drama with the Shorty Awards regarding a few categories not being officially announced as winners for their big ceremony this year, including Travel which Josh got the most votes for, through the fans pushing for answers, Josh received a great plaque from them. Josh has also been in the public eye for his public statement regarding the recent Boston Marathon bombing, from his great POV as a native Massachusetts citizen.

- Tonight is the "Stranded" season finale on Syfy (made by Josh Gates, as well as Brad and Casey at Ping Pong Productions, with help from Jason Blum). There doesn't look to be a rerun schedule for it yet, but you can check for future re-runs by clicking HERE
- Lots of "Destination Truth" Syfy marathons! April 16th 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST, April 30th 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST, and May 7th 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
- No new episodes of "DT" have been shot, so no one can really give us an air date, guys. You can always help to tweet or write to Syfy NICELY expressing to them that we'd love to have highlight specials with deleted scenes, though.

- To start out, our good "DT" friend Erin Ryder has been filming a lot in Australia this year, so we wonder, what are you up to Ryder? Otherwise, she recently signed a deal with Ideal Events, so we hope to see more of her at fan events!

- "Stranded" ratings - week one: 0.92 million viewers, week two: 0.66 million viewers. Via feedback given to @DTonSyfyfans on Twitter - viewers seem to share general feedback that if Josh were to appear on screen introducing viewers to the location the teams are stranded on, or if the contestants were to watch Josh introduce location, or if he were to meet them before they were stranded to explain the location, it would be more appealing to watch.

If you aren't on Twitter or an avid "GH" watcher, I apologize if the news didn't reach you, if this is your primary Josh news source. The episode however will RE-RUN Jan 30th at 8 p.m. EST. Otherwise, Josh's new show "Stranded" premieres on Syfy Feb 27th at 10 p.m. EST on Syfy (no, this does not imply "DT" is canceled in any way, shape or form until there is an announcement as such) and there is a "DT" marathon on Syfy January 29th 10:30 a.m. EST til 6:30 p.m. EST and it looks like there'll be another Feb 12th
- Syfy has a site and video promo up for Stranded, which Josh Gates is executive producing. It also seems like the wording on the site that he will be on camera at least a little bit on this show, so we'll see! HERE's the link
- Ryder confirmed on Twitter that Chasing UFOs on NatGeo has been canceled, but Destination Truth is still on hold
