Josh Gates unfortunately canceled his appearances from the weekend prior for Shooting Star Casino and NYCC because he had a very bad allergic reaction to Poison Ivy, which he could have picked up either in the woods of Maine or Texas where he was performing as of yet unnamed tasks (filming for "DT" or another project maybe?). Rex Williams, a previous "DT" medic, did represent Team Truth at the Shooting Star Casino (video clip HERE) and I made Josh a "get well" video at NYCC featuring Adam Berry of "Ghost Hunters" HERE (you can also see my other general NYCC videos, such as my weekend vlog with "Walking Dead" panel footage HERE and one of me documenting waiting with fans to meet Christopher Lloyd of "Back to the Future" and other great films HERE)
Also included a screen cap below of Josh thanking me for making the "get well" video, as well as those appearing in it :) Though it is sad, I also took photos of Josh's cancelation notice from NYCC :( PS - I sent off the secret fan project that was supposed to be given to him in New York off in the mail the 15th and he knows it is coming. He's back on his feet and traveling, but he will let me know when he gets it (I have tracking on the package and it has yet to leave the jumping off point of Rhode Island, apparently, or no one is putting notes on where it's been yet, which is kind of stupid LOL)

Poison ivy is no joke. Some people are immune while others get hospitalized. I've had co workers in the hospital because they ingested or inhaled the stuff. When it gets in your blood stream it's really hard to get over it.

Did you get all your "get well" cards from the Paracon event? Hope you are feeling better.
