• Josh Gates is still off filming Season 3 of Expedition Unknown and there should be a new episode from Season 2 this coming Wednesday the 15th.
• On June 23rd, there will be a limited admission, soft opening of the Skull Island: Reign of Kong at Universal Orlando in the Islands of Adventure park. Many will recognize this as the attraction Erin Ryder did the Myth Explorer mini-series in promotion for. The RSVPs filled up quickly and it is unclear if Ryder will be there, but since the winner of the Myth Explorer contest (now ended) will be at the parks between June 22nd and June 25th, it is highly possible! In terms of recent disturbing events in Florida involving fan signing events, I recommend if you are going for the purpose of trying to meet Ryder that you are aware of your surroundings, you are safe, and that you respect not only her, but your fellow fans. IF YOU WON THIS MYTH EXPLORER CONTEST, as the winner was notified on June 8th, please let me know via @DTonSYFYfans on Twitter and I will send you a free copy of the Fan Guide to DT so I can send it to you BEFORE the meet up at this event. If you signed a non-disclosure agreement, I will absolutely keep confidential that you won - I just want to make sure you get it before the event purposely for Ryder to sign it and hopefully get a photo of her with the book, but if it's after the event, the free book offer will unfortunately be off the table.
