Thanks so much to everyone who contributed to helping save the fan site! As reward for your patience, here is a tip - something REALLY amazing is going to happen in the first part of the Columbus episode that is coming up on "Expedition Unknown" Season 2. Anyway, in the spirit of transparency, I wanted to show you all where the money went:
Thank you so much to everyone! Here's to two, and many more, years forward! A big website update is coming, including credit to those who helped save the fan site! Greatest wishes to all -Amanda

UPDATE: The available poster cubes are still available. Ebay is not listing the items in a storefront, so here they are as individual links. They will be removed and noted when gone & you can scroll down to the original post to see what this is about:
ORIGINAL POST - Being Josh Gates fans, we can all appreciate stories of mystery and recovering long lost relics. I wanted to do something fun, while at the same time asking for your help. I got news that my domain will expire soon, so this fan site that has existed since 2008 will go dead (I'd transfer as much data as possible to a free domain, but all past links directing to this fan page will be void) if I do not renew in a month. It will cost $50 to renew for a year, or $88 to renew for two years. Here is the fun part. Travel Channel sent me a rare "Expedition Unknown" poster as a "thanks" for helping to promote the show. As you can see by the design below, it has cubes surrounding the center piece promoting each episode/investigation from Season 1. I love the poster, but I had a fun idea. I will gratefully keep the "thank you note" and the middle square of the poster, I will take the 11 pieces representing each episode, which each fan can adopt for $15 a piece. The $15 will cover shipping, eBay and a Paypal fee. With the profit left over, it will go directly to paying for the domain to remain open.
The 12th one I will put up as an auction to see how much it goes for. Half of the proceeds from that auction will then go to charity! Anything left over will go towards the domain, or buying myself an iced coffee so I can give a "cheers" to a wonderful fan community. This is a great chance to own a piece of pop culture history and know that you are part of a fun story in our fan community. Get it framed, tack it up on the wall, or bring it to a fan event for Josh to sign. Stay tuned for the poster links to go up, and thanks as always for visiting! -Amanda, fan site runner Expedition Unknown is back on Travel Channel for Season 2 tomorrow night, October 7th, at 9/8 central p.m. Here are some ways you can prepare and celebrate:
