makeover + contest

Did a nice little make over of the site, so I hope you guys like it :) In other news:

"DT" marathons on Syfy July 23rd and August 20th, so check local listings
Josh Gates is excited about all his Summer and Fall appearances this year (check the list out at his site), but he is most anticipating his Saturday August 24th Woonsocket RI show at Stadium Theater. If you live near Rhode Island at all, or are able to take a road trip for that weekend, Josh would be so excited to see a full house, as this is his first solo speaking engagement! There will also be a fan meet up and further news if he is doing meet and greets when it gets closer to the time of the show. Tickets should not cost more than $50 each, so it's a great price!
CONTEST: I will soon be doing another contest for a free Stadium Theater show ticket, which I will post here, on Facebook and on Twitter, so stay tuned :)

Hey all. Just a couple things:

July 16th, July 23rd & August 20th are when Syfy is doing "DT" marathons, so check local listings
Go to JoshuaGates.com for Josh's Summer and Fall appearances, and stay tuned for an upcoming giveaway for tickets to his Woonsocket RI Stadium Theater event!
"Destination Truth" is on hiatus. This means they have not shot new episodes, so there isn't anything to edit, nor an air date the network can give you, or any one else to give you. The best approach with Syfy when interacting with them on Twitter or email or whatever other methods is not complaining, blaming or insulting them. The best approach is maybe suggesting to them that "DT" should have a clip show hosted by Josh to regenerate or remind the public of "DT"s interest, or just to send daily tweets to them saying how much you love the show. To be frank - the network doesn't care if we miss the show. We don't pay the network for a specific product. As long as they have views for their programs, which people have access to when they pay their cable bill or satellite bill, they stay in business. It is important to not come across as an angry fan base. In the event "DT" were to be announced as over, Syfy/NBC has been very good to Josh and Team Truth, so if we want to seem them in future projects, we might want to be a little nicer! Just my two cents, as the fan site runner :) Thank you!
