Various Links with information from Josh doing season one of ESPN's series "Beg, Borrow and Deal": Josh first got started on mainstream TV from season one of the ESPN reality series "Beg, Borrow and Deal" from the early 2000s. A lot of viewers agreed that while Josh was never the biggest sports expert on the show, he was certainly one of the more entertaining people to watch. Josh has long since loyally contributed interviews and materials for this site. I have provided the link to the search results "Destination Truth" for you guys to peruse through: A nice piece of the "Destination Truth" page on SciFi.com, in case you guys never read it. Josh has written some entries into a travel journal from the second season. One entry, "Homeward Bound," is particularly touching! The link brings you to page one and the other pages are on the right to the current entry: This is HILARIOUS! A blogger posted an unrather flattering article about the show HERE. The guy got the reality check check of a lifetime. "There is a mysterious animal that exists in this region but that does not necessarily mean it is a yeti," he said. "It is still hard to say if this is a myth or reality."
"I was a huge Indiana Jones fan growing up...I love those movies. I've probably seen 'Raiders' more than any other movie. 'Jaws' and 'Raiders' are probably in a tight running, but I was obsessed with those movies as a kid growing up. that certainly propelled me into doing this kind of stuff." "Let's get it out of the way first. Destination Truth gets a lot of props from critics because Josh Gates is a funny guy. Well, until he has to host a Ghost Hunters LIVE Halloween special, but no one can save that mess, it's not his fault. Seriously, Josh will make you laugh out loud three or four times an episode mostly due to the ridiculous situations he finds himself in or because he is trying local cuisine." |
