Josh talks on camera about the infamous "Yeti" footprints found in Nepal from Season Two.

We interviewed many locals, many villagers, yak-herders, Sherpas, and also talked to climatologists and experts, uh, and cultural experts in Katmandu.

 

My team and I happened upon a series of footprints, three footprints, uh, in fact, one of our Nepalese support crew actually spotted the footprints first. His name is Tul and the first footprint is a right footprint. It was really, really pristine, and that one was the one that sort of generated all the excitement.

 

There is a left footprint that is, uh, a heel print only. The toes are missing because of some hard rocks, uh, where the toes would be, so there was no opportunity to cast those. And the third footprint is a right footprint again and that’s in soft sand, so that is not very well formed, but it’s uh, kind of a partial print as well.

 

And um, the foot print is really exciting, ya know? We, uh, we don’t know what to make of it. It certainly does not look like any, uh, the print of some sort of known extent animal like a bear print. It looks very unique; it looks very anthropomorphic, like a human foot, but larger. It’s about 12 inches long, the toes stand at about nine or ten inches at the top, and uh, we’re gonna take that print back with us to the states, have it analyzed, and then if we can draw some conclusions from it, we’re going to try to.
