For my 2nd end of the 2010 year contest, I had fans send in creative entries for if there were a movie to be made about Josh Gates and "Destination Truth". I didn't like that my name was thrown into this because then it seems like I chose this entry as the winner just for that reason, but I liked the creativity involved and how the contestant blatantly says this would be a Syfy movie and just has fun with it, which was my goal for this contest. Here is the winning entry from Michael:

Plot: 
On a remote island in the Caribbean, scientists uncover the tomb of the mythical, all-powerful Button King. Upon uncovering the tomb, the scientists foolishly open it up and awaken the king from his eternal slumber. He's now on a mission -- to destroy humanity and reclaim his throne. The government calls for the help of world renowned explorer Josh Gates (Nathan Fillion "Firefly") to seek out the hidden weapon that once destroyed the button king -- an ancient powerful necklace. With the aid of his assistant, Dr. Amanda (Pop Superstar Tiffany), Professor at Stanford University and expert in Button King history, Josh Gates must travel the world in search of this necklace and uncover its secret powers before it's too late. In the all-new SyFy original movie, "Rise of the Button King".

Title: Wolves Among the Sheep

Plot: Jensen Ackles plays world adventurer Josh Gates as Team Truth travles to the Black Forest in Germany in search of a pack of demon wolves scarring the townspeople. After days of hunting down the elusive creatures, the tables turn and they become the hunted. The team soon runs into three women camped in the middle of the woods. Little do they know, they are their only hope to get back home safely.

Callie and Matt watched in awe of all the equipment that Josh and his team had, and the fact that this team knew exactly what to do."Alright, I'm going to scan the sky for anything that looks like a Pteryadactyl's stomach, and then we can go search the jungle. We'll leave the cave for last."Josh said, motioning for Casey to go with him.Callie sighed, and shifted her leg restlessly."What now? You can't be thinking that you'd like to join them, are you?" Matt asked, a hint of scolding in his voice.She scowled at him, "You know that is exactly what I'm thinking."

Callie stood in the mouth of the cave, a headlamp on her head, a machete in hand, and a belt full of tools on her hip.

Her close friend, Matt, stood next to her, giving her a serious pep-talk.

“I don’t care what’s down there. If anything, and I mean anything, happens, I want you out of there immediately. If I tell you to come back, do it. Alright?” He added.

Callie rolled her eyes, “Yes mother. We’ve done this before.”

“Yeah, well last time you didn’t listen.” Matt replied agitated.

“I’m going, before we start a fight.” She said as she slowly entered the cave.

“Be careful!” He screamed at her.

She wiggled her way into the cave, and soon discovered it opened up further in.

Deep in the damp and moist jungles of Malaysia there were two very different creatures hunting in one location. Their names were: Josh Gates and the demonic dragon Wolfblade. The only difference was that Gates was unaware of what lurked in the jungles, while our friend, Wolfblade was aware of exactly what he was hunting. He was the swiftest dragon in his family, covered in green slime, a long spiked tail, snake-like head and the body of a normal average-sized dragon, he ran with swift werewolf like claws that gave him his gift of agility. Smelling his pray, he slowly approached a small opening full of tall grass, dying trees and all sorts of poisonous things. “The perfect hunting ground.” Said the mighty dragon with a grin on his face. He had hunted many men there before and succeeded. It was only a matter of time before. . .
