Syfy has a site and video promo up for Stranded, which Josh Gates is executive producing. It also seems like the wording on the site that he will be on camera at least a little bit on this show, so we'll see! HERE's the link

there will soon be an episode of "DT" fan radio with Josh Gates! stay tuned for when that will be. the main page for it is HERE and if you click on iTunes underneath the "follow" and "message" buttons, you will be connected to the iTunes Podcast page for the radio show where you can easily download free MP3s of past "DT" fan radio specials with Josh, Ryder, past and present cast and crew, plus more!

the Syfy show Josh is executive producing "Stranded" premieres on Syfy next month! I do not know if he will be on screen for the show or if he's strictly behind the scenes, but maybe he'll talk about that on "DT" fan radio soon!
still no news if "DT" is renewed for the second half of Season 5, but in the same regard, no news of cancelation!

Josh Gates recently got in touch with me (Amanda, site runner) and said he's sorry he hasn't been too active with fans lately, but he's very busy executive producing a new Syfy show coming out called "Stranded". More info on it is HERE and no, they are not casting for it right now. Josh also said he can do an episode of DT Fan Radio once the new year comes up, but no further details right now. And I have no news on new episodes/a new season.

Non-"DT" news: I watched Grant Wilson formerly of "Ghost Hunters" perform with his band CarpetShark locally and posted photos HERE. I will soon have a video/article up on Fan-Culture.org
In regards to recent posts I made stating I'd have a present and a contest awaiting you guys this holiday season: I tried to upload one of my old "DT" funnies videos to YouTube under a private link so you guys could access it here and it's a no go since they detected this was copyrighted material upon upload and blocked it from anyone being able to view. The contest would have corresponded with the video, so I'll wait until I hold the next contest. Stay tuned!

Remember that December 10th, tomorrow on Syfy, Josh Gates will be appearing on the 20th Anniversary of Syfy special, so check out more info on the special HERE
Josh is executive producing a Syfy show called "Stranded" that airs starting February 27th and more info will be posted once it gets closer to the month of airing. I am not sure if Josh will be on camera for it, but let's support! And no, they are not currently casting for it. It's already been shot and is in the process of editing/post production.
CONTEST! Josh revealed on "DT" Fan Radio earlier this year that he was filmed for an episode of "Ghost Hunters", and Syfy released a promo that the episode he is featured in is on next week :) November 14th 2012 at 9 p.m. EST/8 central time
"DT" marathon on November 13th starting 8 a.m. EST to 8 p.m. EST and it also looks like there will be another marathon December 4th, but only the morning episode thus far is listed on the Syfy schedule

Did a complete re-design and clean up of the site
Grabbed a screen shot, LEFT, of Josh Gates' reaction (finally) to the secret fan project I've been hinting at for I think a month now. If you want to digitally "flip through" the book yourself, I will upload a video soon, since Shutterfly's "share" feature keeps timing out :(
If you want to help Kellie's family pay for her cremation service (she was an amazing "DT" fan who unfortunately passed away this past week), please contact the Magnolia Funeral Home HERE re: the Kellie Stroud service. Josh expressed his condolences HERE, which gives you an idea of how involved she was in the Truthies fan community

She was one of the biggest "DT" fans I knew, a dedicated Truthie and an all around nice person. We all will miss you so much, Kellie. Rest in Peace.

Josh Gates has recovered from his severe Poison Ivy allergic reaction and has been back on the road working on a project, or projects, he can't discuss yet. Otherwise, I know his package with the secret fan project in it, plus other goodies, reached it's destination last Saturday, but we've gotta wait for him to be in Los Angeles to get it. I have encouraged him to film/vlog himself receiving it, but we shall see what he does.

Otherwise, in my spare time, I have opened up a seperate fan site for Erin Ryder HERE. Her news will still mostly be posted on this site, but I wanted to do something special for her since she's embraced her fans, be they from "Destination Truth" or "Chasing UFOs", so much :) I would also love for you guys to check out a fan site I set up for YouTube personality Flula Borg HERE and check out my alternative site Fan Culture HERE.
