But why "singularity"?

Aside from the fact that the definition is fitting of the website's focus, "Singularity" is the name of a short film that Gates' starred in, directed by Matt Nix ("Burn Notice").

The movie is notable because it not only showcases Gates' creative sense of humor, but it also serves as his first brush with the science fiction world as he battles a black hole in his apartment.

So yes. "Singularity." Now you know.
