Halloween Snow?!

The Northeast was just subject to a little pre-Halloween snow, and to those who lost power - I can definitely relate, as I lost mine for over 5 days this past summer during Hurricane Irene. I hope you get it back in time for "GH Live" & to get some heat! 
  • Josh will be hosting Syfy's "Ghost Hunters Live" tomorrow, Halloween night. It starts at 7 p.m. EST, you can interact with the cast/crew online HERE during the broadcast and it WILL air on OLN Canada at the same time up until 11:30 p.m. EST for our neighbors to the North :)

  • I finally finished Josh's book and reviewed it HERE. Josh emailed me & said thanks for the review, it was very kind and the original version of "Memoirs" had MANY more cuss words in it, but he wanted kids to be able to read it. There is info on where/how to pick up a copy within the review link, so get one if you haven't already and can afford it.
  • Remember that Josh is having a book signing November 6th in Huntington Beach CA (info at Appearances page)
  • Erin Ryder and Rex Williams have been saying they will be giving out random prizes for random reasons on Twitter to "DT" fans, so be sure to follow them - @erinryderdt & @rex_williams .   • I met up with and interviewed Amy & Adam of Syfy's "Ghost Hunters" this past week. Videos HERE & bonus HERE
  • I decided to change something up a bit. I was going to give only one person my extra official copy of "Beg Borrow and Deal" on DVD once I hit 4250 followers, but because I want it to be more fair and I worry about copyright issues, I will instead split up the discs and give one to each person once I reach 4100, then 4150, then 4200, then 4250 followers. Hey everyone! Josh's book is officially out and I'm so sad to see so many fans without access to buying it either because there isn't a Barnes and Noble near them, it's sold out/on backorder or they can't afford it :( I can only say hang in there and continue to follow Josh on Twitter because he seems to be randomly giving out copies to fans :) 
  • one book signing event has been announced thus far! it'll be November 6th in Huntington Beach CA at the Barnes and Noble 2 p.m. Go HERE for the event details (I put these details on the Appearances page)
  • Added a section on the site for best DT Fan Radio and Book quotes. IF YOU DO NOT WANT POTENTIAL BOOK SPOILERS (the page just has short selections from chapters, not summaries), then DON'T visit the page HERE
  • Josh and his crew were mentioned in this (and a lot of other) articles in regards to a large scientific investigation going on to find the Yeti - HERE is the article from MSNBC
  • fellow DT fan Kristin mentions here a get well package I sent her, as well as an autograph Ryder sent her, stating that she is her role model. HERE is the blog, and I suggest you guys favorite her who blog site because it's lovely :)

It's less than an hour on the east coast until Josh's book "Memoirs of a Monster Hunter" is available online to download and it will officially be available in most bookstores tomorrow in the day. Unfortunately, still no updates from Josh if there will be signings, but he says if people send copies of their book to him, he will sign it as soon as he can. He's been saying a while that he will finally revamp his website and hopefully, this happens soon. In the meantime, here's what's up, Truthies:

  • Ryder wrote a letter to the fans for me to share with you all that's posted HERE
  • Josh was on DT Fan Radio twice (in September HERE and October HERE, and in the October show, executive producer Brad Kuhlman was in on the show, too!) 
  • here's another moment from DT Fan Radio in September when I arranged with Kris Williams of "Ghost Hunters Int'l" to prank Josh. I put the audio into a video HERE
  • my "DT" themed 2011 pumpkin display, part one HERE
  • Josh was recently at the Syfy Digital Press Tour in Orlando FL. While he did not have a panel and there's still no projected release date for Season 5 in January, they had a "DT" themed Luau in his honor and he attended the press activities.
