Two quick updates:

So, this is what Josh & Brad (executive producer of "DT") were hinting at on my radio show the other week! Josh will be hosting the Saturday Syfy Movie Event of "Sharktopus" this Saturday! :) 9/8c on Syfy! Check local listings for when it airs for you.

Episode 2 of Season 4 didn't do quite the numbers it did last week (1.142 million this week, 1.232 million last week), but keeping in mind it's normal competition on Thursday nights PLUS the new season premiere of "It's Always Sunny" on FX last night, it's still not too shabby :)

Anyway, here is the answer to WHERE OTHER CREW MEMBERS "DISAPPEARED" TO (I've been seeing it a lot lately) - no one was fired/let go of/gotten rid of. filming schedules for the show are sporadic. crew can't always drop everything in their lives and film for a few months. Josh and the production company folks can focus on it full time, but the other crew members take other projects.

I'd also like to let you know that I have more "DT Fan Radio" shows coming up, including a BIG show I'm planning with Ryder & Josh in the first week of October. Air date & details coming soon! I am also working on the first funniest moments video of Season 4 and other fun stuff. Stay tuned :)

Before I get to the meat of the updates, I should mention two things. First of all, today was the 9th anniversary of 9/11/01 & I hope that the friends/family/coworkers who lost someone during that time are recovering from their sorrow more and more each day. Anyhow, "Destination Truth" had 1.232 million viewers for the Season 4 premiere on 9/9/10, which is pretty darn good considering it no longer airs after "Ghost Hunters" and was up against such programs as ESPN College Football, Project Runway & Jersey Shore! 

Here is what was updated:
-the "News" section had three entries added (under "News/Media/Appearances")

I would also like to add that I was made aware the terminology "hearing impaired" in reference to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is an offensive term. I do apologize and will be more aware of this in the future. I would also like to point out that transcripts are being made for further radio specials, as well as my exclusive videos. Transcripts that currently exist are here on this site under "Site Exclusives" in "Articles & Interviews"

-3 items added to the "News" section under "News/Media/Appearances", ranging from pictures to video to articles
-Added a photo of a contest winner HERE

• I was interviewed about my fan work for "Destination Truth", Josh Gates and Syfy, in general, by ReelFans.com. I added that article to "News" Under "News/Media/Appearances"
• Aislynn, one of the fabulous ladies who helps me moderate my "DT" pages, researched and created a list of crypto-zoological lifeforms in the United States. I edited it & posted it in a section called The Cryptid Closet! Click HERE to see it
• Photos of contest winners w/ prizes & winning essays HERE 
• Cleaned Fan Art section & added Fan Photos under Site Exclusives

Hi guys. First of all, thank you SO much to everyone for your well wishes with my surgery. Not only have my fellow fans showed their concern and wishes, but there's also my family, my friends & some people you might be familiar with - Danny ("DT" Production Coordinator/Actor), Kris ("Ghost Hunters"), Craig (runs the @Syfy Twitter account), Rex ("DT" medic), and of course, Josh ("DT") - have all lifted my spirits during recovery. If you'd like to know what I had done and laugh at my suffering, I made a Vlog a few hours after my surgery HERE. Screen prints of the well wishes have also been added under "Site Exclusives" to "Fan/Candid/Rare Photos". 

ANYWHO, here are some updates before Season 4 premieres next week on the 9th:

• 3 pieces, including praise for me and my sites, added to "News" under "News/Media/Appearances"
• I updated the Fan Art section under "Site Exclusives"
• I created a Fan Videos section HERE
• I made a page dedicated to the winners of my Summer 2010 contests HERE. It will be updated with the winning essays soon.
• Added more than 40 fan photos & screen shots HERE
• I am having a second radio special with Josh and producer Brad (fourth special, altogether, with Josh and my second with Brad) this coming Wednesday, the 8th, at 8 p.m. EST to 9 p.m. EST. If you want to talk to them on the air, please send in a question toDTfanambassador@yahoo.com for pre-approval. Once your question is approved, you will need to supply a valid working phone number to call from - unknown callers will be hung up on. Remember, these emails DO NOT go to Josh, so declarations of love or other weird emails aren't reaching him via that addy.
