On a related note, I recently got Kent to be able to talk to Josh Gates on my radio show (click link to listen) and despite Kent's humble refusal to mention that he authored the book that Josh knew about, I mentioned it for him. Josh was really thrilled to be speaking to Kent & is flattered. And finally, this is one of the more flattering and amusing pieces I've come across in a while. I made the admin at the website SquareHippies.com aware that I had mentioned an article on their page saying they want Josh shirtless on "DT" (said piece is HERE) on my recent radio special with the host himself. Recently, I have been lucky enough to talk with someone who is more of a fanatic about Destination Truth than I am. Aside from being asked to do an interview about my fan work for ReelFans.com (interview to be posted soon), a few other people have given me shout outs for my fan work. HERE is a review that Terri at Entities R Us, who in the past has drawn me into one of her comics and has even featured my guest draw alongside Josh Gates on some of her merchandise. It's awesome and I'm totally flattered! There used to be a page up on Hal-Con.ca recommending my sites for "DT" fans, but it looks like their site was made-over, so it's no longer up. The link used to be at Hal-Con.ca, but it's now Hal-Con.com. I was visiting OKCupid one day and a fellow user messaged me about "DT". Turns out, he's a huge fan & showed this comic he, or his brother, made (I can't remember the details, to be honest, because I was still hazy from pain killers after my surgery at the time).
